To make this bike race fun for the whole family plan on taking advantage of all of the wonderful other activities that Maupin has to offer: To schedule an exciting raft trip with our hosts Imperial River Company call 800.395.3903. Maupin is also a world renown fly fishing mecca – to schedule a lesson or guide, give Deschutes Canyon Fly Shop a call 541.395.2565. No matter what you end up doing, the Deschutes River canyon is an amazingly beautiful place. The river cuts into a deep basalt gorge and its riverbank, covered with sagebrush and alders, are home to Big Horn Sheep, Mule Deer and a myriad of other wild critters, making for great wildlife veiwing!

The Dates:
Three indivdual stages, held during the weekend of April 24-25, 2010.

Stage One: Saturday April 24, 2010. 9:00AM Start. Race staging area is the Imperial River Company. map of location

Stage Two: Saturday April 24, 2010. 3:00 PM Start. Race staging area is at the Imperial River Company.

Stage Three: Sunday April 25, 2010. 8:00 AM Start. Race staging area is at the Imperial River Company. Please note earlier start time than in years past. We are doing this to spread the field a bit further, cut down on wind (hopefully) for racers starting at the back of the field and make time for our post race barbeque and awards!!!

As always it is our goal to provide you with challenging time trial courses that are aesthetic and test all of your riding skills. We chose Maupin as the site of our time trial festival because we absolutely love the riding out there. The roads are in great shape, there is little to no traffic and the community is excited to host us. The routes are made up of some of our favorite training rides – the kind of rides where you think to yourself ‘what a great place to have a bicycle race…’
