at the Portland Airport Holiday Inn – and the racers are arriving! Inspection and registration are open and the first solos and teams are coming in. It’s raining in Portland – so we at RAO seem to be continuing our weather jinx! I’ve heard both that it will be raining in the Cascades on Sunday and that it won’t be…..hmm, I suppose you know where I stand.
Race day updates will begin around noon on Saturday as the first racers approach Maupin, Time Station #1.
I will also try to update as much as possible the story of what is happening on the road as Millie and I will be home during the race this year keeping the website up to date.
Wish everyone well and keep your fingers crossed for your favorite racers and teams!
