that you might want to bring a gas can for RAO.
Just consider:
Mile 0.00 Gas at start
Mile 160 Gas at Condon
Mile 208 Gas at Heppner – until 11PM
Mile 358 Gas at Spray – after 8AM
Mile 430 Gas at Shaniko – be prepared to pay $3.25 a gallon – will find out how late they will be open on Sunday
Mile 457 Gas at Maupin – will find out how late they are open on Sunday
Mile 530 Gas at Pine Grove
Finish – Gas.

It is dependent on when you think you will arrive at the time stations. Last year’s winning 4 Man team rolled through Spray at 2:30AM. In fact, the fastest two solo men got into Spray at 2:22 and 5:30 respectively. Far too early for gas. Think about your time goals and plan accordingly!
