A Few Updates

Well let’s see….We’ve got a number of racers who still need crew. If anyone out there is considering crewing this year, PLEASE let me know. These solo racers are desperate for help. I’d hate to see them stay home just because they were unable to find an extra pair of hands!
There are a few fires burning in the Mt Hood area – 1is on FR44 – oddly there is still snow on the ground and the fire is just burning in the canopy. There are two other small fires in/near the Warm Springs Indian Reservation as well as two fires out near Dayville. I will keep you updated via the blog and email if the route has any changes due to fire.
I just learned from ODOT that there is some construction going on in the Troutdale portion of the route. George and I will head into Portland this weekend to check out the start and finalize any updates for the routebook.
We have a new solo racer, Jess Clifton. Welcome!
I am ordering the RAO T-shirts. My order must be finalized by this Friday – if you haven’t let me know your sizes, please PLEASE email me right away. If your crew would like to purchase a shirt they will be 15.00, but I will need to know sizes.
We’re getting so close to RAO!! Yeah!

Hey guys, its getting closer and closer, I am looking forwad to seeing you and also helping out wherever I can, let me know when you want me up there. I will do what ever you wish, in other words where ever I wlll be of most help. Also do you want me to bring some numbers (signs) as we discused in Maupin? I look forward to spending some time talking, lots to catch up on. See you soon. The roster is great, good job, it is a sign of the quality of race you have put on.
